A ceremony for signing an agreement between Napier University and our university was held on April 6. Dean Sally Smith was employed as a guest professor of our university. The President of LUT—He Hui, Director Yao Hanbin, Dean of the collage of Computer Science—Sally Smith, the Director of the Collage of Computer Science—Alison, Director Zhang Qian and Deans of relevant attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Ma Xin, the Dean of School of International Education.

During the ceremony, Dean Ma briefly received the work of past years. LUT and Napier University had successfully exchanged about 30 students and many scholars in the past year. The former vice-president of Napier University, Professor Dixson, was employed as assistant of president of our university. Professor Adam from Business College and Dean David from Architecture College visited our university many times in the past year.

During the meeting, according to the Twelfth-five-year Plan, President He put forward some advice and requirement about enhancing cooperation of academic research between LUT and Napier University, and he awarded a letter of appointment to Dean Sally Smith.

        During the visiting, Dean Sally Smith gave two academic lectures to our teachers and students.
