Right after our international students majoring in communication engineering completed their 2-week internship in China Unicom, Jinzhou Branch, our international students majoring in International Economy and Trade went to Bank of Jinzhou for internship of this semester.

   This time we got Leif Rogers’ substantial support and help, who is now working in the International Department of Bank of Jinzhou. During this internship, we used an internship mode of “getting in and going out”, first we invited Mr. Rogers into our campus to give a professional lecture on forex trade for the students. And then based on the certain subject, Mr. Rogers divided them into several duo groups and practiced thieir acknowledge of verntual capital, which made students excited and greatly moblized the students’ enthusiasm. Students has experienced a special discussion. Meanwhile, it made great inspiration for our present teachers. After that, with the cooperation of the manager of international department, Bank of Jinzhou, international economy and trade students had a chance to came to Bank of Jinzhou headquaters and had a on-the-spot visit of international department. The staffs there gave these students a specific explanation of the operational procedure of l/c and showed them the operational system of forex purchase and sale.

    Through twice intenship, the international students showed not just the studying passion for smplex teaching and learning in class, but also expressed their ideas of hoping to be given more chances like this internship, especially for the sudents majoring in international Economy and trade, who need to understand new international business concepts, modern business tendencies and want to be better occupied in Sino-african trade after graduation.

    Hence for the international education, we should possess the international teaching methods and establish more and more practice and intership basements for international students based on their various characteristics. And consequently we can put internationalized educational concepts and distinct educational feature to the international education of LUT.
