During September 18 to 20, Mr. Peter Meng, director of the international department of International Pacific College, New Zealand, and two colleagues paid a goodwill visit to our university, which was the second time after we two universities signed up the cooperative agreements.

    In the morning of September 19, Principal He Hui welcomed their visiting and had a meeting with them in the reception room of the No. 9 Building.

    During the meeting, they together discussed the relevant terms of both universities’ further cooperation in detail. Principal He Hui put forward to continuously broaden cooperative areas like put exchange students to postgraduate level and send professional teachers to New Zealand for training so as to provide more opportunities for teachers and students of our university. Mr. Peter Meng indicated that they would offer every student involved scolarship from NZ$3,000 to NZ$9,500; and the cooperative modes are: “2+2”, “3+1+1”, etc; offer students opportunities of their internship abroad; offer our professional teachers training; offer our English teachers trainings for TESOL certificate, etc.

    And in the afternoon, Mr. Peter Meng preached about the two universities’ cooperative projects to the students from college of management and college of economics and introduced International Pacific College, New Zealand and specially introduced the unique superiority of studying, prospecting working and immigration in New Zealand.
