On November 2nd, the founder and president of “Mr Solar”, John H. Patterson, came to our university to give a lecture on “Climate changing and new resource technology” and had an academic exchange with our teachers. Mr patternson is the president of Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association (OSEIA) and the inventor of Sol-Reliant solar water heating system, which is confirmed as one of the most effective and reliable system.
During the lecture, Mr Patternson introduced the problem of gobal warming and the way to stop the climate from changing, in which it’s in sore need of new technology, the renewable energy. It mainly stated that we should take full advantage of solat technology to make it possible to slow down the environmental degradation. He also stated the latest trends in the area of solar technology and the world’s leading research achievement of his company. And Mr Patternson proceeded interactive questions and answers with teachers and postgraduates.
