On November 17, 2012, LUT held the first Mutually Choosing Employment Fair for graduates of 2013 in order to establish a platform for companies and graduating students’ mutually choosing.

    There were nealy 200 companies providing about 4000 positions, among which there were famous enterprises like Shenyang Jinbei Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd, the Greatwall Automobile LLC, Heibei Iron & Steel Group, Shougang Group, Anshan Iron & Steel Group, Tohoku Electric Power, Dongfeng Chaoyang Chaochai Dynamic Co., Ltd, Wafangdian Bearing Group Co., Ltd, Jinan Machine Tool Group Co., Ltd and all walks of large and medium-size enterprises of machinary, automobile, chemical industry, resourse, education and service, etc that were offering positions of research and development, production, sale, management, finance, administration and management trainees icluding enterprises’ operation at all levels.

    Based on the professional characteristics of our university, this employment fair focused more on technical positions. Majors like Machinary, automobile, electric, civil, chemical industry and material would have more selectivity. And many companies required graduating students who have the potential. And because our degree programs accord with the requirement of China’s regional economic development, hence, under the tense employment circumstance, LUT remains a stable employment situation and dominant majors all have great job prospects for the graduating students.

    What’s more, our university will organise a second mutually choosing fair. And then the graduating international students of 2013 will participate in it with all the Chinese students. And it's believably clear that it will bring more opportunities for international students’ employment because of the continuous development and active overseas investment of Chinese economy.
