On December 11, 2012, LUT held the 2012 Opening Ceremony For International Students at LUT.

   On the ceremony, the Dean of School of International Education, Ma Xin, as the host of the ceremony, invited vice-president, Prof. Tong Shaocheng to give us a speech which showed his hope and advice for the international students: learn to be a student with morality and responsibility; study hard to become a student with ideal and ambition; shoulder the glorious task of sowing friendship and  propagating culture. And the Chinese student representative, Wang Han expressed our hospitality to the international students and hoped they woould have a great study life here. And Mr. Sani, on behalf of the newly-come international students, showed their appreciation to China, LUT and all the Chinese friendly poeple that helped them.

   Moreover, on the ceremony, the School of International Education awarded the 2012 scholarship to the outstanding students as an encouragement. At last, the ceremony ended with expectations and hopes for the future.
