On 9:18 a.m., April 3rd, our school held the ceremony of new experiment and training base in the place of our original school factory.

        The project of the experiment and training base which is based on the “School Twelfth Five-year Plan ”and the demand of the school long-developing requirement. Permitted by NDRC and Ministry of Education, the project successfully applied for the National “Midwest University Foundation Ability Construction Project”.

        This project covers a area of 59, 998 square meters. The first-stage project is 22, 000 square meters and it will be completed at the end of 2013. The second-stage project is 37, 998 square meters and it will start on Oct, 2013 and complete on Oct, 2014.

        The construction of this project is aimed at developing high-quality talents with practical ability and innovation spirit. In addition, the project is based on a comprehensive, practical, open characteristics and it will be mainly on engineering students, multifunctional base for the students to participate in the engineering practice and the combination of scientific research and production.

        The construction of the base will extremely resolve the problem that there is not enough engineering training place for scientific practice.
