     The Ministry of Education and Education Department of Liaoning Province organized the declaration of “Education Quality & Reform Project for Universities and Colleges” in 2013. LUT took an active part in it and successfully obtained projects as followed. Among them, the major, “Mechanical Design Manufacture and Automation”, became the first batch of “Comprehensive Reform Experimental Major of Local University”; “LUT – Jinzhou Wande Industrial Group Engineering Practice Education Center” became “National Extracurricular Practice Education Base for College Students”. The majors, “Material Forming & Control Engineering” and “Processing Equipment & Control Engineering”, were evaluated as “Provincial Comprehensive Reform Experimental Major”; “Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation”, “Software Engineering” and “Pecho-chemical Engineering” were classified as “Provincial Engineering Talents Cultivation Mode Reform Experimental Major”；LUT has obtained 50 “Provincial College Students’ Innovation Business Cultivation Projects” and 15 “2013 National College Students’ Innovation Cultivation Projects”.
