Prof. Meletis, Chair of Materials Science and Engineering Department from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA, visited LUT-School of International Education

From August 5 to August 10, 2013, Prof. Efstathios “Stathis” I. Meletis, Chair of Materials Science and Engineering Department from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA, visited our university.

During his visit, Prof. WANG JIANZHONG, Secretary of CCP committee at LUT, and President HE HUI had met Prof. Meletis respectively. President HE HUI appointed Prof. Meletis as the Guest Professor of our university.

Prof. Meletis had visited Material Science and Engineering School of our university, and had a seminar with the professors of the school. On behalf of Materials Science and Engineering Department of the University of Texas at Arlington, Prof. Meletis agreed to cooperate with our Material Science and Engineering School in the fields of scientific research, staff exchanging and Training Program of Joint Dual Master Degree Program in Material Science and Engineering at LUT and UT at Arlington.
