On October 31st, our university held the 2012/2013 Academic Year Scholarship Award and Opening Ceremony. President He and more than 100 International students of 2013 attended the ceremony and dean of the school of international education hosted the ceremony.
On the ceremony, President He presented the honor certificate and scholarship to the outstanding students and made a speech. President He indicated that our university has a 62-years’ history, accumulated profound educational connotation in bachelor’s and master’s cultivation. He hoped that every student can cherish this platform, blend in with Chinese culture and be successful.
Also the first prize winner of National Electronic Design Contest, Liaoning Division Muhammad Sani, majoring in Telecommunication Engineering, gave a speech in fluent Chinese to express his experience and feelings of how he won the first prize and his expectations for the new students.
Our university has established various scholarship programs since 2007 to encourage students who are excellent at their studies, scientific competition, recreational and sports activities, which embodies the determination of our university to encourage and enhance student’s enthusiasm and capability on students scientific and technology innovative activities.
