On October 14, 2014, Formula Student China (FSC) was held in Xiangyang, Hubei. Wande racing team of LUT obtained the 7th place in the overall ranking out of 65 universities, which was next to Tsinghua University. This was the historic best rank of LUT.
Formula Student China (FSC) is the competition of automobile design and manufacture of students from different universities that major in professions related to automobile engineering and vehicle. This FSC was honored as the “cradle of automotive engineer”.
